Our tin can has stomach ache from wrong oil and the humans try to put me in different ways of transportation. The servant is the opinion Freiburg is no good for Collies in the heat. Even if we wear our heat gear. Out of this reason we used the train and the bus to the Feldberg and the Feldsee. We will use the cable car to go to the top and then hike down to the Feldsee. At least the humans say. Lucien said that the humans are hungry again and only think of eating places. Mmh… Maybe we get snacks there.
At the bus to the feldberg
I must protest. The food space is a joke! A bad one! My nose ore my tail don’t fit. I can’t move! Why the other humans stare at me? What the mean with I am not allowed to sit on a seat or the lap of the Lady, because I am so big? Means to get adult that I can only join the wood class?! And where is my personal butler, who brings me toys and treats?
Feldberg
Do you know the moment, where you will revert time and forget that you ask a question? I know it now. I ask: “What is a Feldberg?” Because why would a mountain be plowed like a field.
The Lady starts explaining immediately. She lectured me about the folding of earth and geological thinks like the highest peak in the black forest. The servant told us about hiking trails and Lucien starts to sing and draw. Help, oh mighty dog goodess.
After a while I looked to Luciens master piece. Lucien what have you done? No one will understand that he has to press the play button!
Gondola
As the said we go hicking, nobody has told me that I must go from metal monster to the next and can’t leave it until the ride is over. The called this device from hell a gondola. Wow… we are not on the ground anymore! I don’t know should I be afraid or exited? The view is grandiose!
The way up was really nice at the end. Only the docking at the top station was hard to bear. The humans must improve the technic! A little pup will get sea sick.
At the top of the mountain
Now we are on the top of the Feldberg mountain. What a stunning view! Why look the humans to a pile of rocks! The sun is nice and the nature even nicer! Okey the lake >Feldsee< looks like a small paddle, but we can run here free or?
Downhill
Why we go down the hill? We have tickets for the tower! There is a bacon museum! Humans you must learn to read! It is included! A beacon museum! We will not go to it? BUT I WILL!
Okay I will show Ms. Schaffhausen sheep the protected nature of the Feldberg. We go down hill. Easy peasy!
And then we hiked and hiked and hiked. Up the small way, down the small way. I didn’t know that my paws can hurt from walking!
Pub
Finally we found the pub! From the mountain top it looked that the lake is near. Hours late we arrived at the way point pub and I am done! Like a very well done steak! And we don’t arrived at the lake!
Look in comparison At the top is that monument! We need a binoculars to see it well!
Lucien and I got water! Plane old tasty water! Maybe dear Lady can I get the bread? No… Oh.. there are crumbs! Slurp slurp. The place next to the lady is perfekt!
Lake Feldsee
After the refreshment we arrived at the Feldsee!
You aren’t allowed to swim in the Lake Feldsee because of the ecosystem and a very rare underwater fern that died if you look to close with the nose. The we saw the dead fish and I looked to the humans and no one will get in there!
The we got around the puddle. Why humans say it is fun to go around a body of water know clou. Maybe this is a wired form of territorial marking instinct.
Lucien lead the Lady and I stopped the servant from running. The we must wait for the bus. A little girl wanted to learn about sheeps! We introduced her to Ms Schaffhausen sheep and her adventures.
After a little while the bus arrived and we must go in the little food space. Why is there no space for us? You must fear for your nose and tail!
Water and Ice in Titisee
Luckily the ride was short and we arrived at the Titisee. The humans brought us to the lake and the stopped to eat ice cream. We don’t get some! But I was to tired to protest!
With the train to Hinterzarten
The we walked back to the train and drove to Hinterzarten. We were so tired! I hope we must not walk again soon!
Home we are coming
Haha… very funny! We must walk some kilometer to get home from the train station! I hope that we get at least a day of if we are home!
So many adventures! I need sleep!

Review Feldberg
At the summer a good trip!
Travel
The Feldberg is good integrated in the train and bus system. Some times the busses are full. The cable car is not cheap but a nice adventure.
Der Feldberg ist über Bus und Bahn zu erreichen. Je nach Wetter und Saison ist es aber rappelvoll im Bus. Die Seilbahn ist nicht billig, aber ein tolles Erlebnis.
Adventures
The cable car, the Feldberg, the lake Feldsee and the pubs are a must have, if the doggy has the courage and the adequate behavior. You can see and discover so many things.
Hundetauglichkeit
The collie knights fully approve the hike here. There are ways to run and the pub likes dogs.
