Then we explored the city centre. It looks so different here. People seem to have different tastes in houses.

The name “Baumhaus” comes from the Bohmschlütern. Bohmschlütern were harbour employees who used a barrier to block the harbour entrance at night and in danger. Today the building houses a permanent exhibition. The themes of the exhibition include the construction of the Poel cog.
