Day 1 – Stuttgart

Our journey to the sea begins. Sebastian has done a great job of convincing us. I’m so excited! But wait… Why do I feel like I’m a Tetris piece?! Where is my luxurious place? Why does Lucien have to go into a dark box?! I would destroy the box! Freedom! I want freedom! What do we have to drive to the sea like this? Is there at least a break? Well, I hope we reach Stuttgart quickly! I can’t last longer than 3 hours like this!

Let’s go!

Stuttgart

Thank the dog goddess! We have reached Stuttgart and are still alive! There must be a more comfortable way to travel!

Be that as it may. Take a look at the map to see what we’ve discovered:

Schillerplatz

The first thing we saw was Schillerplatz with the Schiller monument:

Who on earth is this man? Mum always talks about Schiller’s glove and curls, but why does the latter mean tasty smoked fish? I thought curls were hair like the servant has!

Then we applied for a job as security at the >Junges Schloss< children’s museum:

Unfortunately, we were not successful and the sea still beckons.

Sebastian wanted to travel with the Fruits de Mer Mobil! He hoped it would help us reach the sea faster.

No Sebastian! You’re coming with us! That’s a schnapps idea!

Kaiser Wilhelm Monument

Then we went to see the Kaiser Wilhelm monument:

What do people have to do with immortalising themselves on huge flight animals?

Lion Fountain

There was a fountain in the academy garden! Finally something to drink!

The fountain is a lion fountain, unfortunately Lucien was at a vertical disadvantage. Being 5cm taller has its advantages.

There are many such lion fountains in Germany: List of lion fountains

Perhaps you have one in your neighbourhood?

Parliament

Then we guarded the state parliament of Baden Württemberg. You don’t know how many people were watching!

Let’s continue

Then we drank from the corner lake. By the way, this posture is called >downward shying dog<, we practiced the ergonomic version so that we could drink from any body of water without getting our feet wet.

With the big collie, it was difficult to keep her paws dry!

Another strange behaviour. Mum photographed statues:

Wait a minute, are they naked? My mistress spends our holidays with such dirt!

What are the >Beauties in the Palace Garden II<? These are famous works of art?

Sebastian took a quick look at the Miniatur Wunderland, even though it is unfortunately closed today.

Then Mum and Dad went shopping and we had a moment’s peace and quiet:

Then we found the pyramid fountain and had to test the water quality.

But the day is not over yet! Follow us and find out more about Warneck and Fitzlar.
