On our way back from the interview with my potential squire we stopped at the medival Christmas market of Esslingen.

We parked a good walk a way from the market. So we could enjoy the city a bit.

The art of the city is useful! I am impressed!

The market itself is beautiful but packed! There are lots of stalls but the hustle is really big!

There is a district for >medival< plays like axe throwing and a medival hand operated feris wile for the small squires and ladies.

There was a dragon, too. But he was to shy to pose with me!

We were there exact at the right time to see the alchemist working! The wise Wizard of Woof would be stunned by his college.

While the alchemist makes his show I occupied his stall and rise awareness of Santa Paws!

We found a mistletoe stall, with fresh mistletoes. We buyed one for the wise Wizard of woof!

The human stuff got hungry and than they ate like kings. I watched them and no thing let them drop something for me. That was so cruel of them!

We saw a christmas parade! I cheer very loud.

It got dark and cold. We decided to go home.

Before we got home we found a ghost train! I will tell it my new squire if he arrived here!

The travel by car is complicated. The highway and the enviromental zones in Germany made it hard to arrive properly and parking space is rare.

The market is beautiful and inspiring, but it is packed too!

Dog friendliness

Doggy Knights are allowed but there is very little movement space. Some dogs are not so friendly, be careful where you put your nose.

Santa Paws and his human helpers traveled to Darmstadt.

They could not avoid the beautiful Christmas market.

There are lots of different stalls! From basket waver to pancake maker there was so many!

For Sir Barkalot we got a new sword.

Especially exiting was that original Swiss Raclette stall! It smelled Amazing!

I met a colleague of the wise Wizard of Woof!

There is a carousel too!

I have post with little and big humans! I tolled them the importance of Santa Paws! I smiled until a litte human girl tried to kidnap me! Then I parkt sharp and the situation was okey again! Little Humans need lots of training!

Interesting is the human relation to art. Not my taste really… bit for territory marking it is ok!

We have made a quick trip to the city and found some special things!

I visited the local alchemist supply store for the wise Wizard of Woof. It was closed…

At the end we meet the local rescue dog group. I am so lucky that I not passed the examination. The poor things must sit in the cold and wait!

We were on the Christmas market in Waldshut. But let me tell the story from the begin.

The day started with a early car ride. We meet Uncle Sam and discovered a new path through the woods.

There is a straw bunker. That have so much straw that it will fill every manger around! It is interesting what you find if you go a new way!

We had have lots of fun in the woods and the snow!

After the incredible walk we started our way south to Waldshut. There is a little and special christmas market!

I posed with the statures of the saints and found new friends and admirer!

Ther Market is mostly a craftsmanship and food market. The bigist highlights are the Flammlachs and the Met stall.

I I convinced Humom to share with me her Flammlachs. He tasted incredible! Get one if you have the option!

There is a beautiful Christmas crib. But a doggy shepherds was missing. I tried to fill this gap! Am I good?

Traveling through the Black Forrest is easy if you like small challenging roads with beautiful views . There are hiking car parkas every now and then. In Waldshut we recommend to you the parking behind the train station.

Adventures

The walk with uncle Sam was relaxing.

The market is super! Go there and eat a Flammlachs and drink a Met!

Dog friendliness

Santa Paws is admired form big and small people on the market. Exchange greetings and smile for pictures is a must have. There is plenty of space to look and sniff.

On our journey back to Titisee we stopped in Friedrichshafen and visited the Christmas market. It is a small market direct at the Bodensee.

We were a bit to early. The market opens at 12:00 o’clock under the week. We decided to explore the city.

We found some strange looking sculptures!

Some were a bit shady!

After this the humans got hungry! The found a nice Indian place! I was so happy to can rest a bit!

We were on St. Nics day in Friedrichshafen. There are decorated stalls and it smelled amazing! The humans got silly an made some funny pictures.

I met a new friend a she Husky and discovered the harbor.

And then I spotted it! The Paradise for Dogs! Look for your self!

To get to the market is easy use the car park Altstadt and go out of the door. You find the market right behind a little passage. You must have some drinks to get this wrong!

Adventures

The market is central and very beautiful! It worth it to go there!

The harbor and the city is also interesting and a must see! If it to much on the market you can walk there!

Dog friendliness

The noble doggy knight is allowed to roam every part of the market. It can be a bit crowded at the stalles. The doggy knight isn’t allowed to go foray at the food stalls or piss the decorated trees.
